CD May Be Dirty. Eject the CD and check for fingerprints and smudges. Proceed to clean the CD off with a small cloth and rubbing alcohol. Wipe the CD from the center outwards. Then, reinsert the CD into the stereo.
Are you saying the amp shuts off or the radio. If you think its the turn on lead, disconnect one of the amp from that lead and run a second wire over the seats from the power ant. lead to turn on the second amp. Try this and see if it cuts off. If it doesnt, then you probalby need to add a relay to the turn on lead.
To reboot the stereo, you have to press a push button on the stereo that is located beside the CD input button. Do it while the stereo has an active power supply to it. Push the button down for a few seconds and then release. Your stereo has been reset. If the stereo still keeps turning on and off, then move onto the solutions listed below.
I turn the bass boost on my head unit to 4/6 and it comes alive and you can actually feel it. Cause from my testing, when you turn on bass boost from the head unit, it puts out more voltage so not sure if its safe for the amp, if the amp is set at 28V and a higher number comes in. Now, alternatively, if youre familiar with Pioneer head units
